YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Can I bring a guest to the wedding?
We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity we’re only able to host the guests listed on each invitation. To ensure everything runs smoothly, guest names will be checked at the entrance. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or filming during the ceremony. This is a sacred moment for us, and we want to ensure our photographer and videographer capture every memory beautifully — uninterrupted by phones or cameras.
What is the dress code?
Formal Black-Tie is requested. Inspired by the New York City Ballet Spring Gala — a colorful evening of statement elegance and artful expression. Think timeless tuxedos and avant-garde gowns in garden colors.
Are kids allowed to join for the wedding?
Unfortunately, this is an adults-only ceremony and reception.
Do I have to stay at the hotel listed?
No, you’re welcome to choose from several hotel blocks. The Hyatt House Auburn Hills Detroit is closest to the venue, while the Daxton Hotel, Birmingham, Curio Collection by Hilton offers a more elevated, boutique experience.
Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?
There won’t be organized transportation, so we suggest arranging a car rental for your journey.
Will there be gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegetarian options?
Yes! You’ll be able to request gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian accommodations when the RSVP list opens.
Will any part of the evening be outdoors?
Weather permitting, the cocktail hour may be on the terrace. Heat lamps will be provided, but we recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket to stay cozy.
Anything else I need to know?
Please note that our wedding will take place in Michigan, which observes Eastern Standard Time. We kindly ask that you plan your travel accordingly.
